Situation Vacant: Parish Administrator

We are seeking a Parish Administrator with good communication skills to maintain an
efficient parish office, manage lettings, produce parish publications, and provide general
secretarial support to the Vicar.
St Mary’s is a lively and friendly parish church situated on the High Road at the heart of
the Balham neighbourhood in south-west London. We are an inclusive, diverse, and
modern liberal-catholic church seeking to enrich our local community through worship
and service.
The post is part-time (9.5 hours per week) at £9.75/hr (London Living Wage). As
Administrator, you must maintain regular office hours, but there is some flexibility in
establishing the pattern of work. You must be able to act on your own initiative, have
good IT skills, an eye for detail, and be comfortable working alongside volunteers. An
understanding of how a parish church works would be an advantage.
