9 June – Love Balham!

Started a few years ago by our neighbours at the Church of Ascension, in Balham Hill, ‘Love Balham’ is an annual event of witnessing to God’s love by practical acts of service to our local community.  This year, members of St Mary’s will be joining in — a great opportunity to bring our two churches together. Participants will gather this Saturday at 9am for breakfast and prayers at Ascension Church (23 Malwood Rd, SW12 8EN).  To get involved, please contact the Vicar.

10 May – Ascension Day

Ascension Day marks the ascent of Christ into heaven forty days after Easter.  All are welcome to join us at 8pm on the evening of 10 May for a Sung Eucharist to celebrate this important day in the Easter season.

29 April – Family Service: ‘Who is my neighbour?’

People of all ages are very welcome to join us for our Family Service at St Mary’s this Sunday, 29 April at 4.30pm.  Together we will focus on the story of the Good Samaritan and how we relate to people different from us.  The service will last for 1/2 hour and be followed by a brief craft activity.
