Ash Wednesday – 14 February

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a season of self-examination, repentance and preparation for Easter. Since the Middle Ages, Christians have observed the start of Lent by having their foreheads marked in ash with the sign of the cross as a gesture of penitence and as a recognition of mortality.  All are welcome to join us for our Ash Wednesday services:

12.30pm: Eucharist with Litany (Holy Family Chapel)

8pm: Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes (Nave)

Christingle for Candlemas

Please join us on Sunday, 28 January from 5-5.45pm for our Christingle service, at which we will celebrate the Light of Christ at Candlemas.  This family service is open to people of all ages!

Epiphany

Join us this Sunday as we mark the Feast of the Epiphany, when we celebrate the revelation of God to the nations in the person of Jesus Christ.

There will be a short Said Eucharist (BCP) at 8am, followed by a Festal Sung Eucharist at 10.30am.  Families are very welcome.
